Demonstrating at the Titus County Fair.

I did a demonstration at the Titus County fair in September, 2011. I finally got the photos downloaded to the computer and thought you would like to see the painting as it progressed. On the left is the still life set up and my french easel and palette. Below I am getting started and working at getting the composition done quickly. It took about 30 minutes to get the composition laid in -picture 3. The 4th and 5th photo shows more development. I had about 2.5 hours to work and took the painting home to finish after this stage. The 6th photo was taken after I worked on it in my studio and the last photo shows it finished.

Painted in the last few years

The paintings below are a few examples of my more recent work. It is hard to date a piece as it is subject to change until it is out of the studio. They are available at the gallery listed or if none is named they may be purchased from my studio.
